It's gotta be that the Governing Body is so thick headed and real slow learners because with the internet all these documents like confidential letters to elders and what not have become public and yet they keep printing this crap that will get their asses in a vice legally with no intention to stop? The Governing Body is not very bright(smart). They tell the publishers not to make copies but it ain't gonna make a difference copies will still be made and made fun of on the internet. These guys are always a day late and a dollar short, when it comes to being CEOs of a multi billion dollar corporation they are sure stupid. -

They really need to shut down the whole judicial committee process and stop shunning because the way things are going this might save them lots of future lawsuits, not the ones pending or in the very near future but down the road a little further. It should be a financial decision that these CEOs should make to save their corporation, while it it true they will loose lots more members it is better than going bankrupt from lawsuits that this in house judicial process they have in place opens them up for.
So I think the end of shunning could happen if these dinosaurs on the GB team take a long hard look at the mess they are in and the need to bite the bullet so to speak.

I think with these child molestation lawsuits hitting them and becoming public knowledge the Corporation is directing them not to engage in conversation with the house holder to avoid the rank and file member getting the 'news' about it in the door to door work. I think their non conversational new style is all about information control for the common lackey. -

What is the youngest age you know of being DF'd?
by berrygerry ini doubt that nothing has greater impact then a person being df'd - reading the current thread.. i have known many kids df'd at 15, and many baptized at 10 or 11, but none df'd.. i would imagine that the minimum must be about 13.. any younger than 15?.

i never thought for one moment that it would survive this long or have so many people post so many great subjects over the years.. it is still humbling when i get pm's or emails from people expressing how the site has helped them and of course thanks goes to all the posters who have shared their experiences and make helpful and supportive comments to others who are in the sometimes difficult process of learning the real truth about 'the truth'.. the site has gone through several different incarnations over the last 15 years running on different platforms, different databases and different hosts but we've been able to keep all the old topics.
the current site is still being developed and i'm hoping to push another major upgrade soon.. i also may have some other news to share soon about the future of the site so stay posted.. until then, here's the the next 15 years!

I wish a Governing Body member would give a talk like that and have it recorded and posted on Utube but that is just wishful thinking. The guy is a complete idiot and so is the audience that giggled.
I'm sure Stephan Lett comments will wind him up in court someday I hope it is soon very very soon.
